Painted by hand, no brushes

Sometimes time stops and everything falls away. The cars and the trams stop running, the noise and the murmur of the crowd fall silent, and the whole swirl of things blurs until it loses all importance. Attention settles on a single place, a single thought, a single wish… Life.

This is the moment when miracles begin to happen, mystical things, when we touch the depth of life to the very edge of the unreal. We join with the whole universe, with signals from above, with the message meant for us in the hush of a church, in the flight of birds, in the chiming of the forest.

How much time is really left? How many days, how many nights, how many months, how many years? Does it matter? It does and it doesn’t. But with those close to us, the ones we are bound to heart and soul, lightness is hard to come by… it simply isn’t there. It becomes the only wish, the dream, the longing… life.

How strange, how much time, energy, longing and thought we pour into things that a single second can throw into doubt. One small lapse in the rush of events, of time, of happenings, of information, of goals, of pleasures… and off we go down an empty, senseless road, believing all the while in its meaning and its weight.

Sentences echo in my head… never forget the silence, never forget to stop within time, never forget where your thought is heading, your words, your path, your life, and above all never forget your faith, because it is mighty and it works miracles.
